New York Taxi Drivers

One of my initial observations of New York when I came in 2006 was that the largest demographic of cab drivers in New York were Indian and Pakistani. Wikipedia states that the 2000 census showed that of the 62,000 cabbies in New York, 30% were from India and Pakistan. That number has surely grown in 2009!

I created several short films and also tried to start a larger global discussion amongst drivers by screening these films to drivers in India. Click on the links below to know more.
